15 Last Minute Holiday Mini Session Outfits

11/04/2021

what to wear for holiday photos

With Halloween officially in the rearview mirror, the holidays are right around the corner. Oof. That sentence made me gage a little.

Despite being in the midst of prepping for holiday mini sessions this weekend, I’m over here still nursing an energetic hangover from all the spooky, costumed, pumpkin-palooza of October. This year was probably my favorite Halloween since becoming a mom; it was just so special to see everyone out, streets filled with happy giggling kids, and communities going ALL OUT to make it an extra special night for them. My heart needed that top-off. No regrets on the late night crafting.

But now it’s November and, after all that fun 😉, it’s time to starting thinking about what comes next.

Ready or Not… ‘Tis the Season

Did you know: we’re only 21 days out from Thanksgiving, 24 days until Hanukah, 51 day until Christmas, and 58 days until New Years?! So while it may feel too soon to start thinking about the holidays, there really isn’t that much time to fit in all those holiday traditions. Regardless of where you stand on the whole Christmas before or after Thanksgiving debate, the short timeline is fact.

We all know the best defense against mom stress is a good offense (can you tell how much Ted Lasso I’ve been watching?). In other words, plan plan and then plan some more. But even Dani Rojas misses a shot every once in a while. On the off chance the season of non-stop festive fun has snuck up on you, there is no need to fear a case of the holiday yips; I’ve got you.

Just realizing your haven’t scheduled your annual family photos yet? Check out my online booking calendar for the remaining holiday mini session spots.

For those of you who’ve already booked or are sitting on the fence wondering what you’d even put on your bodies beyond your work from home/virtual school comfies…

Just give me some pointy shoes and call me Buddy. Photo ready outfits (shopping links included!) take all the heavy lifting off your shoulders.

Cheers to that.

I’ve pulled together 15 last minute outfits you can get this weekend with minimal leg work.

We’re talking local in-store availability (curbside pickup anyone?) or Amazon Prime 2-Day shipping. Even better, you probably already have some of these pieces in your closet.
